It's really just a fox.

(Another tiny little sketch. Detail image: [link] )

For some reason, I can never get a decent scan of drawings on white paper. Sorry for crappy-looking quality.

even though the quality of the scan isn't great, the lineart is lovely :)

When you make the scan set the exposure/gamma so that the scan has very low contrast. You should be able to do this simply by lowering the exposure and/or gamma. Then use curves in Photoshop to adjust the image to how you want it. The problem with scanners is that they have a very low density range compared to your eye or even compared to film, so if the image is very contrasty (like lineart) then the scanner can't quite handle it, but it tries, so you get clipping... blah blah blah :)

Looks good though, once again.

Thank you! That was very helpful. I had been putting the contrast UP to try and improve it...d'oh!

Looks good, maybe you should set the auto hue and saturation adjustment option if you have one in your graphics program.

Excellent line art here. The lines could be a little darker and more full. Really strong piece though. I love the expression of the figure.

Try to reset the gamma and the red channel and scan in grey scales. Mainly canon scanners seem to have a problem with depictign brighter detail on white paper...

nice sketch btw
