Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Mother doesn't really suck!

I should make it clear that I was joking about the suckiness of my mother, in the last post I made.  In fact, I am grateful that she makes me go out.  I have barely left my apartment in ten years.  I went on two trips to Stanley Park, once or twice to Metrotown, and once to New Westminster, where I got bitten by a dog belonging to some guy I was dating.  I also went on a blind date in Victoria, which was creepy, and genuinely did suck.  And I had passport photos taken, three or four years ago.  That was the last time I went more than four blocks from home.  But I have promised to show up for WonderCon this April, and somehow, I have to get used to not being at home.  (I used to only like being in certain parts of my home, not even my whole home, which is just a one-bedroom flat.  So being out in the neighbourhood is progress.  Ha, ha!)

I sent Mother some photos of my neighbourhood in the dark (taken at 6:30PM--although it was dark, it wasn't dangerous to be out.  I was not wandering about in the middle of the night), to show her how scary it is.  She did not agree with me, and told me to suck it up!


There was some creepster in the lift, with an iPod.  He looked like Emperor Palpatine.  No, wait--that was me, AGAIN.


This tree was totally out to get me.  I could feel it sucking my brain.


An old lady, walking near the waterfront, was really giving me the eye.  I think she wanted to push me under the wharf.  She was probably in the Mob.


These branches were like..."I'm going to poke your eye."


Another pointy tree, on Moberly Road.


This waterfront restaurant is TOTALLY a hangout for gangsters and pervs.  (Actually, I heard it's pretty good, but I've never been inside.)


Aliens are beaming up a sign, on Moberly Road.


It's dark.  Really dark.


I walked in the dark for about twenty minutes, and stubbed my toe twice.

Well well ... since you love birdwatching, and since (I suppose) there aren't that many birds IN your home, isn't that motivation enough to go into the wild and frightening "OUTSIDE" ?
I hope so. Because, mind you, this is where inspiration lies, isn't it ?

It's almost Wondercon time, already, and I neeeeeeeed to be there (and preferably not by the skin of my teeth, sitting there wishing I could download a teleport app on my iPod, to take me back home). :-D
