Lady Macbeth by socar Lady Macbeth by socar

"Di sangue umano sa qui sempre.
Arabia intera rimondar sì piccol mano
Co' suoi balsami non può."

Or, if I remember Shakespeare's version correctly, "Here’s the smell of the blood still; all the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand."

Can't remember who told me to turn Lady Macbeth into a creepy opera bird, but if you're out there, thanks; I liked drawing her. I used a Luzon bleeding heart dove, for her, though in retrospect, a robin should've been a better fit for the Scottish, or in this case, the Scottish opera.

A good goal for me, I think, is to learn how to letter properly.

And now I'm having Hatoful Boyfriend flashbacks.  (very odd game involving pigeons, it's on Steam)...Lovely penciling as always!

It's actually ink, rather than pencil!  ;-)

I remember seeing that game on the Playstation store, a while ago, and thinking "what the hell?  Pigeon dating?  PIGEON DATING!?".  Man, there's a game for everything, nowadays.  I almost got it, out of morbid curiosity, but I was too cheap.

Wow that's some incredibly delicate inking!

And yeah, I would never have gotten the game myself, but a friend bought it for me and was obsessing over me playing it...So I gave it a shot and ended up whispering (or yelling) "What the fuuuuuuuuck....This is so messed up.....THE FUCK?!" about every 10 minutes.  I ended up completing the game, and then the second half of the game unlocks and is EVEN MORE MESSED UP.  So much so that I'd say if you can get it while it's on sale, do so.

I have now downloaded and played it, and got all the endings--I always get my money's worth, out of games.

MAAAAAAAAAAAAAN, that was weird!  I don't know what to think.  Also, I played through the true ending in the middle of the night, last night, when a horrible dream about zombies had woken me up, and I couldn't get back to sleep.  Creeped me out so much, so much!  Especially with the golem wandering the halls, and all the death!

Honestly, I was a little surprised one could die at all, in this game--I thought it was going to be more silly and lighthearted--messed up in more of a weird/bizarre way, than a "HOLY SHIT, WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?" way, from the description on PSN.  Then, the first ending I got was being killed by the Hawk Party, out of the blue, because I was trying to get an ending that's apparently not possible on the first playthrough.  I was like "wait, what?"

Anyway, thanks for telling me about that.  I'm not sure it's an experience I'd repeat, but I certainly won't forget it, in a hurry.  ;-)

HAHAHA oh this is wonderful, I had a very similar response, especially when I tried "dating" the creepy doctor.  The part where he sends a package to your home had me going D:

Oh, yeah, that was...a special kind of disturbed.

I actually owe that creepy doctor a good kick in the tail for THREE unexpected deaths:  his bad ending, his good ending (which is pretty much his bad ending, only WORSE!), and the first time I died, because I was actually trying to get his ending that time, not realising you can't, on the first playthrough.

The whole "bird dating sim" idea was weird enough, but I really wasn't expecting quite THAT level of odd!  Ha, ha!

Hah!  That's the odd thing about that game, "dying" doesn't really mean "losing", since you have to die to get all the endings.  Such a weird game...But then again, it WAS originally made as an April Fool's joke, if that's any comfort.  ;)

It IS, in fact!  Comfort, I mean.  I'm glad it wasn't, like...a sex thing.  Ha, ha, ha!
